The customer of this 421 came in for annual inspection, avionics upgrade and install of a JPI960. The annual inspection also revealed the exhaust system need to be overhauled.

Slight surface corrosion was found on the engine spar. All corrosion was removed. The spars where acid etched, alodined, primed and painted.

One complaint the customer had was his engine temps. An inspection of the baffling reviled major cracks and year of repair patches. All new baffling was built to address the problems
